We see a lot of counter top chillers (saladettes) not holding temperature. To keep foods safe, fresh and in best condition keep your saladette running below 8°C (ideally below 5°C). It is important to know the temperature of your prepared foods especially if you are storing protein items in your counter top chillers. Check how cold your prep is by probing the centre of a food item in your saladette.
Tip – Ensure containers fit tightly in unit so no cold air is lost as gaps around the containers loose cold air and increase the temperature of the chiller.
